The Challenge
IKEA has the ambition of helping people ‘live a better life at home’, as part of this they wanted to support teenage girls, who often drop out of sports, and new mothers by creating new ways to incorporate physical and mental wellbeing into daily life at home.
The Unlock
We explored the wellbeing landscape by understanding the barriers and opportunities in China, the UK, and the US. Through ethnographic interviews with girls and women, we gained insights into their everyday challenges and identified opportunities for innovative solutions.
The Impact
Our efforts culminated in the successful launch of the DAJLIEN range in 2024. This product line seamlessly integrates wellbeing products into the home environment, effectively transforming each home into a space that supports both physical and mental wellness.
